9/4- Today’s Update: Yesterday his team made the right call to put in the chest tubes and they have been able to remove a large amount of fluid directly from his lungs which is already improving his oxygen levels and lung performance. Friday Keith is going to undergo a tracheostomy. The trach will allow him to be completely removed from sedation while still getting ventilator support but be awake and able to participate in his recovery.
